Welcome to “From the Inside,” a blog from the newsroom to you, the readers of the Durango Herald and other Ballantine Communications, Inc. publications. We’ll share an inside look at the innerworkings of the newsroom, tell you about cool things the company is up to and its history, and answer questions you may have while providing an insightful look at important news. Our goal is to give you an opportunity to look inside Ballantine Communications, Inc., help you understand how it functions and provide a forum for you to interact with us.

One last thing: “From the Inside” is not the forum to address customer service issues or ask about your subscription. We simply don’t have the time or resources to address individual concerns, but we do have people specially on staff to help you with those issues.
