Marketing class to be held today

The class “Relationship Marketing” will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

The Durango Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Dr. Simon Walls for the 10-week marketing course. The class is $25 for chamber members and $35 for nonmembers.

Hassle Free Sports announces new hire

Hassle Free Sports announces the recent hire of Hal McLean as a senior sales associate.

McLean is a longtime Durango resident, a former business owner of Southwest Sound and a part of the Durango cycling community. He brings his passion for skiing and more than 30 years of experience in competitive cycling to the business. McLean is a certified bike fitter.

The business is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday and is located at 2615 Main Ave.
