A mule deer recently picked up an empty sunflower-seeds bag from a pile of trash in Greenmount Cemetery. A herd of about 20 deer frequent the area. Marvin Jetton, the photographer, said it’s the first time he has seen trash dumped at the cemetery in the 15 years he has lived in Durango.
