Running for Bruce

“Bruce has given so much to the community. ... It was a no-brainer,” said Ken Flint, race director for the Community Cares 5k Run for Bruce. Flint was referring to the decision this year to dedicate the annual 5K run and 1-mile fun run to Bruce Anderson, a local radio personality and longtime community volunteer who is recovering from a stroke he suffered last year. Flint said 254 racers registered for the event and were asked to donate $10 to the cause.
