Kunc is the Willa Cather Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and is represented in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. San Francisco’s Diego’s Umbrella will return to the Abbey Theatre on Thursday night to headline a “Gypsy Rock” show with locals Carute Roma. The band struck a chord with the Abbey audience in January when Diego’s Umbrella played a warm-up set for the March Fourth Marching Band and now they’ll get top billing for this week’s concert.
