I’ve recently been working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado and would like to invite everyone in our community to join in a wonderful fundraiser for our local kids, Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Teams are forming now and times are filling up quickly, so don’t wait. On March 24, pre-registered teams of four can roll on out to Rolling Thunder Lanes at Sky Ute Casino and have a ball.

This event is so much fun. You spend an hour playing and competing with your buddies and find how much it means to the families of La Plata and Archuleta counties. For every $100 they raise, bowlers even have the opportunity to win great prizes!

I’d like to encourage one and all to volunteer for this fun and important event. If you own a business, you can be a sponsor and gain all kinds of exposure.

So, sponsor, donate and play. It is easy to register your team online, and all of the proceeds go to the same worthy cause: the families and children of Southwest Colorado.
