FLC hoops it up for College Fridays


“Kids look up to athletes, so it’s really neat to have college athletes come down,” Escalante Middle School principal Tim Arnold said during College Friday, an annual statewide event to raise awareness of college opportunities for middle school kids. In Durango, while the Fort Lewis College football team visited Miller Middle School, members of the FLC women’s basketball team joined forces with the Escalante girls basketball team to play against the Escalante boys.
