Well Waugh the wait

Genna Waugh waited a long time to defend her own goal at Ray Dennison Memorial Field, and it was worth the wait; the Skyhawks’ junior goalkeeper made eight saves in a 19-8 home-opening victory Friday over Colorado Mesa. Waugh and the Fort Lewis College women’s lacrosse team (6-5, 3-2 Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association) will host Colorado College at 1 p.m. today at Ray Dennison Memorial Field in Durango.
