Ignacio author Tom Givon has completed his “Boz” trilogy of modern fiction with the release of Blood. The third book of the trilogy follows Jonas Tall Tree, whose Numa Native American father left him during his childhood, leaving the boy to be raised by his Spanish kin of Armijos Junction, Colo., a fictional town. In the process, he is recruited to run for sheriff. When Jonas’ drug-soaked past threatens to catch up with him, the reincarnated Boz, who mysteriously looms through the entire trilogy of stories, swoops down to the rescue – with strings attached.
Givon will hold a release party for Blood at 6 p.m. today at Eno, 723 Main Ave. All three books in the Boz Trilogy are available at Maria’s Bookshop, 960 Main Ave.
