Heart Safe La Plata to offer CPR courses

Heart Safe La Plata will offer these CPR and first-aid courses in the training room of Durango Fire & Rescue Authority, 142 Sheppard Drive:

An adult CPR/AED course will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday. This course will cost $50 and provides a two-year certification.

CPR PRO for the Healthcare Professional will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. May 10. The cost is $65 and covers adult, child and infant CPR.

A combination class of CPR and basic first aid will begin with adult CPR/AED at 9 a.m. May 23, and then a first aid class at 1 p.m. The cost is $65.

Instructors are available to teach at businesses or organizations.
