The Fort Lewis College volleyball team continues stockpiling players for the future, adding Fort Collins product Audrey Guiberson and Tucson, Ariz.-area prospect Ashley Ellis to the mix.
Guiberson, a right-side hitter, was a versatile cog for her Fort Collins High School team. The 5-10 Guiberson played right side, outside hitter and defensive specialist for the Lambkins. She was the Front Range League’s MVP and was first-team all-conference.
Guiberson, like FLC alumnae Nichole Schwab and Heather Bryant and current Skyhawk Tehya Smith, played for the Norco Volleyball Club, one of the premier club programs in northern Colorado.
Ellis is a 5-10 outside hitter/middle blocker from Canyon Del Oro High School near Tucson. She was a second team all-state performer as a senior and a first team all-region member as a junior and senior. Ellis also was voted her team’s most valuable player on two occasions and was a three-year starter for the Dorados.
Guiberson and Ellis join Lindley Gallegos, Taylor Heinemann and Alexa Moser in FLC’s incoming class.
