The retirement and financial services business is owned by Cindy McKnight, who has 12 years of experience and was the district and regional manger for AFLAC Insurance.

The business is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. The business offers unique strategies to stretch the retirement dollar. McKnight will help people with strategies to protect their assets and income as well as ways to navigate in economic instability.

Put A Cork In It announces opening

Put A Cork In It announces its opening at 121 E. 10th St.

The wine store is owned by Alan Cuenca, the former manager of Eno. Cuenca also has worked at the Wine Merchant for five years. The store specializes in small-production artisan wines for everyday people and collectors. The store carries an array of accessories and chilled wines and teaches wine-education classes for novices and aficionados.

The business will host free, in-store wine tastings from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays and Fridays. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week.
