Junction Creek accident

The driver of a Ford Explorer fills out paperwork given to him by Trooper Jason Shimp of the Colorado State Patrol after driving off Junction Creek Road just north of the Colorado Trail trailhead. Shimp said the driver was heading toward town when he took a corner too fast and went off the right side of the road. He said the vehicle struck a tree, rotated and came to rest facing the road about 60 feet down an embankment. The driver was unhurt, but he was cited for careless driving and driving under a suspended license. Enlarge photo
