Chief District Judge Gregory Lyman swears in District Judge Suzanne F. Carlson on Friday afternoon in 6th Judicial District Court at the La Plata County Courthouse. Carlson was appointed in June by Gov. John Hickenlooper to fill the newly created position. Carlson has served as a judge for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe since 2005.
