Durango broker earns seller’s designation

Edmund Andersson, broker/co-owner of RE/MAX Pinnacle in Durango, has earned the Seller Representative Specialist designation from the SRS Council.

The program, approved by the Colorado Real Estate Commission, equips agents who represent sellers with skills and techniques needed to market and sell real estate. The curriculum includes: Seller counseling, market and trend analysis, pricing strategies, staging, developing property marketing and sales plans, social media, auction alternatives, handling and negotiating offers and counter-proposals, and marketing and sales techniques for promoting to specific demographic groups.

Area Healing Center to host meet and greet

Durango Healing Center will host a “Meet and Greet” from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at its new location, 555 South Camino del Rio, Building C, Suite 1A in Bodo Industrial Park.

Participants will be introduced to the benefits of medicinal marijuana-based products and meet the staff members of the center. There will be food, music and more.
