Cabin Fever organizers thank supporters

The Pine River Heritage Society Museum would like to thank everyone who helped to make the Cabin Fever fundraiser a success. This event was held at the old Middle School Gym on Friday, March 7. Ron Dunavant, a director on the museum board, served as the auctioneer. He enjoyed getting bidders involved to get the best prices for the 45 homemade pies and walnut brownies. Prior to the auction, many folks enjoyed free chili, potato soup, coffee and lemonade. It was an evening to visit with friends and have a good time too, plus taking home tasty pies!

Members and business in our community support the museum. It is an all-volunteer group and we appreciate the public's interest in the local pioneer items we have on display. The museum will open Memorial Day weekend through Heritage Days, Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free, but your generous donation helps to keep the lights on.
