3:20 p.m. A large bear broke through a screen door and was in a manís backyard in the 2400 block of Thomas Avenue.

Thursday

8:21 a.m. A customer reported money was taken out of her purse at Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio.

4:28 p.m. A man was passed out on a bench and could not be awakened at the Durango Transit Center, 250 W. Eighth St.

8:02 p.m. A woman spotted her stolen bike in the 900 block of Main Avenue.

8:20 p.m. A bear was destroying a manís yard in the west 200 block of 25th Street.

8:21 p.m. An 18-wheel truck was idling behind KFC, 2933 Main Ave, and it was disturbing a woman.

11:03 p.m. A man and a woman were causing a disturbance near Main Avenue and 10th Street.

11:54 p.m. A man tried to take a tip jar in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

2:41 a.m. Medics from the Bodo Park fire station responded to an assault.

5:47 p.m. Someone reported smoke near Heritage Road and Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141) southwest of Durango.
