Thursday and Friday were spent seeing the sights in and around London. This also gave us time to learn how to make the best use of the “Tube” (London subway), but we still have done lots of walking.

Piccadilly Square was packed with people; however, the London Eye was not.

On Friday, we took a trip to Bath and Stonehenge. In Bath, we walked 212 steps up and down at the Abbey.

We watched the opening ceremony on the big screen at the hotel. You can tell the amount of people has definitely picked up because there are lots of crowds everywhere.

Today, you can read about our first game, mens gymnastics, and about going to the Queens Theater.

Yes, we have visited lots of pubs!

The people of London have been very helpful and cheerful, and the food has been great.

That’s all for now. Competition is about to start. We are about two hours away from the gymnastics venue by Tube.
