With a new product comes a new name and logo for Mercury, formerly known as Mercury Payment Systems.
On Friday, the company launched a revamped website, logo and name along with MercuryLoyalty, a system that allows consumers to participate in loyalty programs through their mobile devices rather than carrying a card.
“The products and services we’re developing now reach well beyond payment processing,” said Mercury CEO Matt Taylor. “We want the updated expression to reflect the future direction of the company.”
Amid these changes, Mercury also is building new corporate headquarters next to the Durango Mall.
Mercury Village will allow the company to expand and add about 350 new jobs. The building will hold about 700 employees.
