Four weeks in, and the Durango contingent from the local Youth American Football League has yet to see a losing record.
Durango went 4-1 last weekend on the football field, and the locals now are 13-5 overall.

The sixth-grade Durango 49ers shut out the Aztec Longhorns 13-0 at home.
Josh Johnson scored a rushing touchdown and an extra point, and JW Eggers added a rushing touchdown for the 49ers’ points.
The fifth-grade Durango Patriots defeated the Aztec Ballhogs 40-7 in Durango.
Joe Arnwine threw three touchdown passes, two to Tim Miller and one to August Meiers. Brayton Jackson scored two touchdowns on the ground.
The fourth-grade Durango Colts defeated the Aztec Apes 21-14 in Aztec.
Gage Mestas rushed for three touchdowns, and Jordan Woolverton accounted for three extra points – two rushing and one toss to Ty Martinez.
The third-grade Durango Dolphins lost 30-0 to the Bayfield Wolverines.
No statistics were available for the Wolverines’ win.
The second-grade Durango Demons picked up their first win of the season, 13-6 over Kirtland, N.M.
Tagert Bardin had a rushing touchdown and an extra point, and he accounted for the Demons’ other points, too, with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for a touchdown on defense.
The third-, fifth- and sixth-grade teams will host games at 9, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Middle School.
The fourth-grade Durango Colts will play at 9 a.m. at Pagosa Springs.
The second-grade Durango Demons will play at 11 a.m. at Bloomfield, N.M.
