Stone art gallery moves to new location

Rock Island Stone Art Gallery announces its new location at 2180 Junction Creek Road (County Road 204), which will open on Oct. 3.

The art gallery and studio is owned by Mike and RooJoo Wilson. The business is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, and by appointment. The business offers more than 15,000 pounds of stone art mainly from the island nation, Madagascar. Durango TV announces new hire, website

Inside Durango Television welcomes new sales team member Alan Sabo who brings more than 25 years of marketing experience.

Sabo’s experience includes business-to-business sales, cooperative business relations, developing product distribution channels and creating U.S. business models for foreign manufacturers.

Sabo founded ALS Marketing Group (Chicago), attended FAA Academy, Baldwin-Wallace College, University of Chicago and is a Vietnam veteran.

New agent joins RE/MAX Pinnacle

Stacy Engle, formerly an associate broker with Blue Ribbon Properties in Durango, has joined the real-estate team at RE/MAX Pinnacle.

Engle has been involved in the real estate industry since 2001. Beginning as an office manager for a real-estate firm, she then obtained her Colorado real-estate license and became licensed in New Mexico in 2005. Born in Dallas, Engle moved to Durango within just a few months. She now lives in Aztec and is able to serve her clients in both states.
