The Durango High School boys soccer team found it’s charger.
After a four-game slide that included a tie, a difficult win and two losses that left the Demons’ battery looking drained, DHS zapped Montezuma-Cortez with a 6-0 victory on Tuesday afternoon.
Durango scored five goals in the first half and one in the second.
Panthers’ keeper Bridger Brenner made 18 saves, according to maxpreps.com.
With the win, the Demons improve to 6-2-3 overall, 3-2-1 in the Southwestern League.
They play Montrose at 5 p.m. Friday at Riverview Sports Complex.
