Artists invited to design wrapping paper

Wrap It locally, a project of Local First, is accepting entries for the annual holiday wrapping paper project. Designs will be judged by a committee from the Durango Arts Center. The deadline to submit is Nov. 16 at the Local First office at 640 Main Ave. (upstairs). The submission format is a digital (250 dpi) image and a hard copy.

Audition for Kids’ Follies to be held next week

Durango Performing Arts Company will hold open auditions for the Durango Snowdown Kids’ Follies from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at studio number 5 in the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave. The event is open to ages 8 through 18. All acts should be appropriate for a family show and be no more than five minutes. Acts may be theatrical, vocal, instrumental performance, dance, comedy, solo or ensemble. A participation fee of $25 is required if selected. Snowdown Kids’ Follies performance dates will be held Jan. 30-31. For more information, visit dgopac.org or call 799-4044.
