Baby’s Away business announces opening

Candee Pearson is the new operator of the Durango Baby’s Away business.

Baby’s Away carries a full line of baby gear for rental needs when traveling away from home. Pearson will deliver the gear to a person’s destination and pick up the equipment after they leave.

All gear is certified by the Juvenile Product Manufacturer’s Association. It is safety-checked and cleaned and sanitized before each use.

Antique store opens in Highway 3 Plaza

Remember When Antiques announces its opening at 929A Colorado Highway 3 Plaza.

The business will host a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. There will be drinks, snacks and a drawing for gift certificates of $20 to $100. People do not have to be present to win.

The business will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. The business carries books, collectibles, furniture, glassware, jewelry, kitchen gadgets, linens, metalware, pictures, postcards, pottery, tools and toys. People can buy, sell and trade.
