Injuries

Cincinnati quarterback Munchie Legaux suffered what appeared to be a serious leg injury against Illinois.

Legaux was hit by a pair of Illini players as he dropped back to pass midway through the fourth quarter. Information about the injury was not immediately available, but it appeared to involve his left leg.

Legaux stayed on the turf for several minutes before being driven off on a cart.

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller has a sprained left knee that sent him to the sidelines against San Diego State.

It may not prevent him from playing next week, however.

Considered one of the top contenders for the Heisman Trophy, Miller left the third-ranked Buckeyes’ game after being pinned between tacklers.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Miller could have returned and may be ready to play next week against California.
