Durango tourism board looks to fill seat

The Durango Area Tourism Office is accepting nominations for an open seat on the board of directors representing tourism-related retail businesses in Durango and La Plata County.

Nominees must be an active member of a local tourism-related retail business with operations in the county.

The board provides insight, guidance and support to DATO staff members and represents various tourism-based constituencies on the board.

Mail a completed application with a copy of the applicant’s résumé to Durango Area Tourism Office, 802 Main Ave., Durango, CO 81301. Applicants also can email the documents to director@durango.org.

Travel agency launches new website

EuroAm Travel Club recently launched a new website at www.euroamtravelclub.com.

Frank Fristensky, the travel site principal, has been operating and leading individualized and small group tours to Central Europe since 2003. EuroAm Travel Club specializes in taking clients to the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.

Tours for 2013 travel adventure have been designed, and interested individuals and groups should visit the website or call Fristensky at 749-5824.
