I will not be renewing my subscription to The Durango Herald. For the last four years, I have given the Herald the chance to practice true journalism. True journalism gives both sides equally.
True journalism holds all politicians accountable no matter what their party affiliation. On the other hand, a propaganda newsletter hides, obfuscates or eliminates anything negative on one side and exaggerates, and over represents anything negative on the other. Guess which one the Herald fits?
Maybe I missed it, but during the last four years I did not see one syndicated column written by a conservative or Republican. That kind of bias and balance almost makes Rush Limbaugh seem fair and balanced. The Herald must really be doing quite well if it can afford to disenfranchise almost half of the people in this county as they quite obviously donít want their business.
This will be the first time in my life that I have not received a newspaper, but, in hindsight, I have only received a propaganda paper the last four or five years anyway.
