Jay & Silent Bob gained fame in Hollywood through films such as “Clerks,” “Dogma” and “Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back,” in the ’90s. Jason Mewes, right, entertained with his fast talking, foul mouth, and Kevin Smith piqued viewers’ curiosity by rarely talking and always being at Jay’s side, but that’s because Smith was busy producing and directing the films. The duo will be in Durango on Thursday to talk about the last 25 years of their friendship. The show is also an intervention for Mewes, who experienced nine years of heavy drug use and has been able to stay sober since they began the podcast in 2010.
