Gentle yoga classes available

Gentle yoga classes with Jennifer Kiel, certified yoga instructor, take place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave.

This class is ideally suited for seniors and people new to yoga. Drop-ins and beginners are welcome.

Children’s flu vaccine available

San Juan Basin Health Department has children’s flu vaccine available for youngsters ages 6 months to 18 years.

There is a suggested donation of $21.65.

To make an appointment, call 335-2013 in La Plata County or 264-2409 in Archuleta County. People also can check availability of adult and children’s (older than age 9) vaccine at local pharmacies by calling them or visiting www.flu.gov and entering a zip code.
