Barbershoppers John Randolph, Joel Bratsch, Jonti Fox and Pete Peterson serenade Jeni Hartman at work on Valentines Day last year at Rakita-Tomsic Physical Therapy. The Durango Barbershoppers are again available to send a singing Valentine on Thursday anywhere in La Plata County. A barbershop quartet will deliver two appropriate songs, a carnation and a small box of chocolates to an unwitting audience from 8 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. The cost is .95 and a portion of the earnings will go to support vocal music programs in 9-R elementary and middle schools.
