The Pagosa Springs teen who went missing Thursday has turned up in a Denver suburb.
Dillon McKee, 17, called his mother early Sunday afternoon from Englewood, Archuleta County Sheriff’s Detective Brandon Bishop said Monday.
“I talked to the Englewood police,” Bishop said. “Dillon is OK, nothing wrong with him.”
Bishop said the teen’s mother drove to Englewood to pick him up. They were expected to return to Pagosa Springs Monday afternoon.
Bishop couldn’t release the names of Dillon’s parents until it was authorized by the sheriff.
Dillon was seen about 3:30 a.m. Thursday with an unidentified woman buying gasoline at a Giant station.
Bishop said after Dillon was reported missing that foul play was not suspected. He said it appeared to be a runaway case.
