The Fort Lewis College men’s golf team is sixth after Day 1 of the two-day Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Spring Championship at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz.
FLC fired a collective 612 in two rounds Monday, with UC-Colorado Springs leading at 578 with two rounds left to play today.
Zack Bryant led the Skyhawks by shooting 149 over 36 holes, good for 11th, 12 shots behind individual leader Kevin Witte of UCCS.
Lucas Laudick is tied for 21st at 154, and Bryan Schlicter is tied for 29th at 156. Charlie Laudermilk is tied for 35th after carding a 158, while John Thomsen is alone in 40th after carding a 160 over 36 holes.
