Colorado Children’s Campaign presentation to be held

The Colorado Children’s Campaign will give a community presentation of the 2013 KIDS COUNT in Colorado from 3 to 4 p.m. July 11. This report, released each year by the Colorado Children’s Campaign, provides statewide and county data on a range of factors affecting child health, education and overall well-being.

The 2013 KIDS COUNT report looks closely at how 25 of Colorado’s largest counties compare across 12 child well-being indicators. The goal this year is to provide a clearer picture of how Colorado’s kids are faring, and provide local leaders and those who care about kids with the county-specific data and analysis they need to better serve local children.

This free event is co-sponsored by the La Plata It’s About Kids Committee, Early Childhood Council of La Plata County and Colorado Children’s Campaign.
