Palm Desert feels like home

FLC golf sits in fourth place at tournament it hosts in California

The Fort Lewis College men’s golf team sits in fourth place after two rounds of its home tournament, the third annual Dr. Troy Bledsoe Classic Shootout in Palm Desert, Calif.

FLC shot a 663 as a team and trail Colorado Christian University and Oklahoma Christian University, who are both tied in first at 613.

Lucas Laudick shot a 161 to lead the team and tie for 12th place overall.

Clark Reideberger shot a 165 to land himself in 20th, Morgan Miller a 168, Michael Thomas a 169 and Bryan Schlichter a 173.

Dillon Washburn and Josh Woodworth competed as individuals in the event, shooting a 166 and 172, respectively.

Those scores put Washburn in 17th and Woodworth in 27th.

The third and final round begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Desert.
