Woven through history

A collection of Navajo weavings dating from the 1860s through the 1950s opens with a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Toh-Atin Gallery, 145 W. Ninth St. The show will feature Transitional era blankets dating to the turn of the 19th century, early pieces from regional trading posts and weavings made with commercial yarns from the mills of Germantown, Pennsylvania.
