Morrissey is qualified and not conflicted

I would like to endorse Allison Morrissey as the most qualified candidate for the county treasurer position. She has actual experience in trying to manage costs in the real world.

Despite all the rhetoric, Bobby Lieb is not qualified to manage money. The 2014 La Plata County budget that County Commissioner Lieb approved has about a $10 million dollar deficit. He commented to the Herald then: “I continue to be concerned about our long-term revenue situation in the county budget.”

Talk is cheap. Making hard decisions to cut costs is the sign of a manager and leader. I don’t believe that he is either. He is a public spender. By the way, does the Lieb family do business with the county?
