Is there a business you look forward to patronizing? Do you know an entrepreneurial small business owner who you think is worthy of recognition?
The Small Business Administration is seeking nominations for outstanding businesses, businesspeople and other assorted categories, with nominations due by Jan. 5, 2015. That may sound like a long time, but the nominations are complex enough that the SBA has created a “Ten tips for writing a winning Small Business Week nomination” section on its website.
Awards are given at the state, regional and national levels in most categories, and nominations may be submitted by almost any entity, including the business owners themselves.
