Meeting addresses advances in compressed natural gas use

The Four Corners Office for Energy Efficiency is sponsoring a public meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 10 on the latest advances in the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) to power vehicles.

The meeting will be at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.

Fleet managers and people interested in alternative fuels can find useful information.

Meeting topics include development of a CNG fueling station in Durango, CNG vehicle maintenance and incentives for using alternative fuels.

Vehicles converted to CNG fuel will be on view.
