Helpful tips on interrogation techniques

Because it’s well-known that the general public knows so much about interrogation techniques, I thought I would give the CIA some tips on interrogating its next captured terrorist.

First, a nice comfortable setting for questioning is a must. A fireside chat in plush leather chairs would probably be suitable. A bear-skin rug is optional. If the agency is anticipating a lengthy discussion, refreshments are mandatory. I would suggest a nice 2012 Red Oak Cabernet. Make sure there is suitable crystal for this excellent cab. The CIA might also consider a mild cheddar as a snack.

At no time during the interrogation should anyone raise their voice in a threatening manner. Be polite and seek to gain the terrorist’s trust. This is must and easier than one might expect. Compliments on the terrorist’s dress, etc. are very helpful. In any case, don’t wear the terrorist out through a prolonged questioning. Realize that a well-rested subject is a helpful subject.

These are but a few tips on a successful interrogation without resorting to your so-called “enhanced interrogation techniques.”
