Drop in oil prices a win-win-win

In this world of endless sad news, here’s a current story of evil versus evil that is equaling the greatest pure good I’ve seen in a long, long time. First, I’d like to thank OPEC (Never thought I’d ever say that) for going to war with the U.S. fracking industry! It’s obvious that OPEC is very upset at the prospect of losing so much of America’s oil demand – so much so that they are willing to play turkey. They realize for the frackers to make money, the price of oil must be well over $50 a barrel. At $50, they are losing millions every day. They may have also realized they had been too greedy by keeping the oil prices so high, and they allowed the fracking industry to become this huge monster in the first place.

But here are all the beautiful side-benefits for the United States and the entire world from dropping oil prices: 1) Russia needs oil to be at $100 a barrel just to make ends meet. At $50 a barrel, Russia spirals into a complete free fall. Yeah! 2) ISIS is also losing millions everyday in black oil profits on their stolen oil fields. Double yeah! I believe that may be part of the reason for this dramatic drop in prices. OPEC being upset with all of the black oil ISIS is putting on the market. 3) But the best side benefit by far is: Hopefully this will slow or stop all the undisclosed chemicals being forced into our ground at pressures that literally breaks million-year-old rocks apart to suck out the toxic fumes that this process causes! Hope. 4) Lastly, America will thrive from billions of extra dollars flowing into our economy – and I like paying $20 less to fill up, I bet you do, too! Talk about a win-win-win! I love a great news story, especially right before Christmas. So, turn off the TV, iPod or computer for a few days, relax and may you and your family have a very merry Christmas.
