A professor of urban studies and planning at Portland State University will describe at the April 8 Green Business Roundtable lunch how artisans are creating jobs to stimulate Portland’s economy.
Charles Heying has written a book on how bicycle manufacturers, speciality restaurants, microbreweries, clothes designers and food carts are creating handmade wealth.
Heying’s book is titled Brew to Bikes: Portland’s Artisan Economy.
