‘Place country above party, extremism’

We are going to choose between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in the upcoming election. I am concerned about the future survival of our democracy if Trump is given presidential powers again.

I hope Americans place our country above party and extremism. I believe it vital that we elect an individual who will honor and defend the U.S. Constitution and our democracy.

If we want to continue to be as President Ronald Reagan called “the shining city on a hill,” referring to our American exceptionalism, we must place America and its democracy above political party with this election more than any other election.

If we don’t, we may go down the path to aristocracy with the current political discourse.

Trump is not the person we should put our trust in.
