Eagle Valley girls lacrosse proves more evil than Durango

Durango girls lacrosse drops road game

The Devils proved to be better than the Demons Friday in Gypsum.

The Durango High School girls lacrosse team lost its fifth game in its last six, 17-10 at Eagle Valley.

Statistics weren’t immediately available.

DHS (3-5, 2-3 Mountain League) currently sits in fifth place in the Mountain League standings and likely would match up with the Devils again in next week’s lacrosse crossover.

Because the ML has so many teams, and not all played each other, the teams from each division in the league will match up and play each other to determine the final league standings for playoff positions.

But first the Demons will have to contend with Battle Mountain at 11 a.m. Saturday in Edwards.
