There was a recent story that indicated trees that have enough moisture can fight off beetles.
I’m wondering if it would be economically feasible to drop water on the larger forested areas. This might serve two purposes: Keep the trees healthy to fight the beetles, and prevent forest fires. Seems like that might save money in the long run.
