Consider a donation to Nepal foundation

The situation in Nepal is devastating. It will take years to recover, but it will never be the same. So many lives have been lost, structures destroyed that were centuries old and so much a part of Nepal’s history and beauty. It is a poor country, but the Nepalese people are wonderful and very kind.

I worked in Kathmandu many years ago, volunteering with an organization that has been there for more than 50 years. The Dooley/Intermed Foundation has been doing work there for so long that it is part of the local landscape. It is a nonpolitical, nonsectarian, nonprofit institution that depends on charitable gifts from people like you and me.

Consider a donation. The money will go directly to disaster relief. Also, if you want to learn more about Dr. Tom Dooley, the founder, just Google him. It’s an extremely interesting story.
