A Canada goose and her goslings ply the waters in an offshoot of the Animas River on Saturday morning at Santa Rita Park, braving the Animas River Days chaos that surrounded the whitewater park all day. On Sunday, the river peaked at 2,640 cubic feet per second, 9 percent below the historical average for the date. This year’s River Days, around since 1982, ended Sunday.
