(Tuesday only) When an unannounced, uninvited and unwelcome family of fun-loving misfits converge upon a lakeside resort to join their relatives for a summer of relaxation, the result is anything but restful in this raucous comedy starring Dan Aykroyd and John Candy. It’s a vacationer’s worst nightmare, as wheeler-dealer Aykroyd, his sexually repressed wife and eerie twin daughters ‘join’ the easygoing Candy and his straight-laced clan for a season of ‘fun’ in the sun. In this vibrant, funny, and heartfelt film, a widow and former songstress discovers that life can begin anew at any age. With the support of three loyal girlfriends (June Squibb, Rhea Perlman and Mary Kay Place), Carol (Blythe Danner) decides to embrace the world, embarking on an unlikely friendship with her pool maintenance man (Martin Starr), pursuing a new love interest (Sam Elliott) and reconnecting with her daughter (Malin Akerman). What We Do in the Shadows
Four vampire roommates are trying to get by in a modern world that’s not always hospitable to the undead. Clement and Waititi, creators of the HBO series “Flight of the Conchords,” co-wrote, co-directed, and co-star in this hilarious send-up in which an unhip quartet of friends reveal to us or, rather, to the documentary crew that’s filming them, the details of their routine. Ranging in age from 183 to 8,000, and in appearance from adorably youthful to Nosferatu-crusty, they squabble over household chores, struggle to keep up with the latest trends in technology and fashion, antagonize the local werewolves, cruise clubs for lovely ladies, and deal with the rigors of living on a very, very strict diet. Félix & Meira
(Wednesday only) A story of an unconventional romance between two people living vastly different lives mere blocks away from one another. Meira, a young Hasidic housewife and mother, and Félix, a man lost in mourning the recent death of his father, unexpectedly meet at a local bakery in Montreal’s Mile End district. What starts as an innocent friendship becomes more serious as the two wayward strangers find comfort in one another. As Felix opens Meira’s eyes to the world outside her tight-knit Orthodox community, her desire for change becomes harder for her to ignore, ultimately forcing her to choose: remain in the life that she has always known or give it all up to be with Félix. Rated R.
Love & Mercy
The life of reclusive Beach Boys songwriter and musician Brian Wilson, from his successes with highly-influential orchestral pop albums to his nervous breakdown and subsequent encounter with controversial therapist Dr. Eugene Landy. A young Brian Wilson is played by Paul Dano, while the aging Wilson is played by John Cusack. The film also stars Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti. Rated PG-13.

Inside Out
(Also available in 3-D with a surcharge) Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. Rated PG.
Dope
Malcolm is carefully surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles while juggling college applications, academic interviews and the SAT. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself. Rated R.
