A southbound lane in the 2100 block of north Main Avenue was closed for about 45 minutes Wednesday afternoon when the Durango Fire Protection District responded to a report of smoke in an attic just before 4:30 p.m.

No fire was found, the agency reported, as crews cleared the scene and reopened the road to traffic.
