Strater play captures Durango flavor

I recently spent a delightful evening at the Henry Strater Theatre with family and friends being entertained by “Guitar Strings, a Cowboy and a Lost Peacock.”

The original play perfectly captures the flavor and tradition of Durango and the Strater Hotel.

The professional performers create an engaging, comedic show that will make you laugh and even sing along. Don’t miss this clever, smart take on our community playing through Sept. 26. And you will be supporting a venerable local institution –The Strater Hotel and The Hank.

Thanks to Rod and Laurie Barker and the staff, Sarah Syverson (playwright), and, of course, the talented actors for creating and bringing this fanciful play to our community!
