3 taken to Mercy Hospital after rollover

Two ejected during crash on Forest Service Road 682

Alcohol is suspected in a rollover crash that injured three men Sunday night on Missionary Ridge Road.

Charges are pending against the driver, Thomas Lile of Durango, who is suspected of drunken driving, said Capt. Adrian Driscoll, with the Colorado State Patrol.

He was driving a white Ford F-150 when it rolled multiple times.

During the crash, Lile, 27, and his passenger, Jacob Helton, 29, were ejected and received serious injuries, Driscoll said.

Helton was transported by helicopter to Mercy Regional Medical Center.

Lile and another passenger, Rumaldo Quezada, 39, were also taken to Mercy.

Quezada, a Bayfield man, was not ejected from the car and suffered minor injuries, Driscoll said.
